ABOUT THE COLLOQUIUM

The Colloquium will take place in a hybrid format at the Institute of Language Studies at the State University of Campinas (IEL-Unicamp), with live streaming on the IEL YouTube channel. There will be 19 invited speakers from 8 countries, as well as panels for registered researchers to present their work.

The multiplicity of fields that now engage in dialogue with Alain Badiou's work is consistent with his unique formulation of the relationship between the diversity of conditions and the unity of thought. With this in mind, the International Colloquium on Alain Badiou is dedicated, without thematic restrictions, to fostering a broad dialogue on the relevance of his ideas to contemporary issues.
